Join Liah, our Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner & Georgia, our Senior Yoga teacher for a one half hour immersion of supported yin yoga, acupuncture and acupressure, with the healing vibrational sounds of Meridian Tuning Forks.
We will journey through the seasons beginning and ending with the season Spring, balancing the TCM 5 elements as we cycle through these energies, accessing and nourishing your “Chi”, bringing flow to stagnation & over energies in the body’s meridian system.
Spring is a time of growth, new opportunities, expansion, renewed energy and the warmth of the sun. Join us on the mat for this balancing practice.
Liah holds a Bachelor degree of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Southern School of Natural Therapies. Liah’s approach to healthcare is rooted in the belief that the human body possesses the ability to regulate itself, and acupuncture serves as a tool to facilitate this natural healing process with minimal side effects. Liah works closely with her patients to restore and support optimal health and wellbeing by addressing the root cause and integrating modern and traditional knowledge.
Our modern day lifestyle requires us to be in a constant state of efficiency and Yang and doesn’t leave us a lot of to time nurture our Yin and truly rest otherwise known as a parasympathetic state. The balance between Yin & Yang is incredibly delicate and imbalance can be seen in nervous system and emotional dysregulation as well as physical ailments. The combination of adding acupuncture to a Yin Class can quickly switch our body in to the parasympathetic state and nourish our Yin resources leaving people feeling truly replenished.
