The Reiki energy, associated with the element of earth, is of a lower (denser) range of vibration, working mostly on the etheric level (and therefore on the physical level to re-balance the body). This also means that it is easier to feel in your hands.

ABOUT THE TRAINER

My name is Carla Carolina Perez Romero I was born in Mexico, I moved to Canada at 16, living with my sister for three years before striking out on my own at 19. I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Global Business and Digital Arts. My spiritual journey began at age 5 when my mother introduced me to an Angel Healer, who taught me energy work similar to Reiki.

At 24, I experienced my first Kundalini awakening in Tulum, which led me to pursue Reiki training and study auras and chakras. For the past two years, I have been working full-time doing Reiki sessions and Aura Photography. I completed my Reiki Master training at the Ashati Institute in Melbourne, where I also learned other energy modalities that complement and enhance Reiki. Additionally, I am a certified Yin Yoga teacher and host Women's Circles and Sound Baths.

I incorporate Heart Coherence Meditation into my services and Reiki training, as studies show that intuition originates from the heart. I initially started practicing Reiki to understand more about the energy work I was introduced to at 5 years old. The holistic benefits I experienced (mind, body, and soul) inspired me to continue my training. Reiki also became an invaluable tool for conducting Aura Photography readings and trusting my intuition.

Seeing the profound benefits Reiki brought me—especially in alleviating anxiety, reducing physical pain, connecting with my spirit guides, and manifesting my desired life—motivated me to share this practice with others. This is why I decided to train people in Reiki Levels 1 and 2. I love Reiki because it is a gentle yet powerful and precise modality.
