This 4 day intensive will work up to deep backbends like ‘Cakrasana’ (wheel pose) which are rarely experienced in general yoga classes, simply because there is not enough time to properly prepare the body, mind, breath and heart for the intensity of such asanas.
In this four day yoga immersion we will definitely have fun and take the time to explore how to work towards peak poses such as Cakrasana by exploring the core principles of:
* Grounding
* Lengthening
* Opening
* Expanding
These principles will be applied to our body, breath and the heart through Asana, Pranayama, meditation, chanting and a sprinkle of non-dual Tantrik yoga philosophy.
Backbends challenge us to move beyond our perceived limitations and enter the fullness of our being!
