10 Week Introduction to Yoga Course - Term 4


Our 10 Week Introduction to Yoga Course will be a transformational journey for participants and allow students new to yoga to get a feel for five of the types of yoga we hold at Prana House.

This includes:

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Tridosha - Traditional Tantra Yoga

  • Hatha Yoga

  • Vinyasa Yoga

  • Yin Yoga

Students will gain an understanding of yoga philosophy, the specific types of yoga, practice of the basic poses and what to focus on when holding and transitioning, contraindications and precautions, adjustments and benefits.  Each of the five styles will be practiced over 2 weeks with the relevant teachers.

This course will be a great foundational course allowing students to understand their practice, build strength and awareness of the styles so they can go on to attend classes in the specific styles they like.

  • Students are committing to a 10 week course paid up-front which is non-refundable. Each of the 5 styles of yoga will be practiced for 2 weeks with the relevant teacher to each style. Students can expect to gain a good feel for each style and be guided through adjustments to suit their body and feel comfortable asking questions. Our team is here to support you along the way! Week 1 will be a 2 hour class. Classes missed do not receive compensation classes/credits.
