My name is Hanna. Growing up I struggled deeply with mental illness and eating disorders. Through many years of psychological and psychiatric support, medication prescriptions, inpatient admissions, a bachelors degree and certifications in psychology and mental health, and a devastating war against myself – I felt that something significant was being overlooked. Whilst my physical health fluctuated, the underlying causes for my suffering remained the same.
Similarly, years later, when I dove deep into my yogic and spiritual practices – I felt a disconnect. There was little consideration in the spiritual world, for the body and it’s innate responses to traumatic experience. I often left class triggered and traumatised. What was I doing wrong?
Over the past decade I have used myself, my practices, and the teachings that have been handed down to me - as a training ground in the discovery of what really does work. I now wish to share these learnings with you.
From a real life understanding.
To feel is to heal.
