A 2.5 hour deep dive into the body and the senses. A practice to help us restore our natural state of calm and connection.
Join Hilda Strojil, yoga teacher and therapist and Sandra Pavasovic, sound healing facilitator and intuitive meditation teacher for a deep dive into the body and the senses. As the world around us gets busier and faster, the demands on our attention and time can feel overwhelming. More than ever, we need remedies that help us slow down, connect back in, and cultivate a sense of calm.
In this 2.5 hour journey, you will move through a meditation and restorative yin practice, aimed at calming the nervous system and priming you for a state of deep rest. This will be accompanied with a sound immersion of Tibetan bowls, shamanic drumming, gong and voice to encourage the release of tension and stress as well as slowing down your brainwaves to enter a state of deep peace within.
We’ll end the night with some sharing to help integrate our experiences. Participants will leave feeling attuned to their most truest nature - one of calm and connection. All levels are welcome.

Modalities:
YIN YOGA:
Yin yoga originates from ancient Chinese Taoist practices and involves longer holds. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is a strong acknowledgement of the mind-body connection, so the benefits of Yin run deep into our many layers. Through longer holds and acupressure, we get to remove blockages in our meridians (said to be connected to our fascia), which can include accumulated toxins, such as negative thoughts, past pains, and emotions. Yin Yoga ultimately allows for a better flow of Qi (or life force) in our meridian channels, and aims to restore an inner balance that helps us return to our most natural state. As an antidote to the modern world, yin helps us slow down, become more receptive, and tune into our innate being.
SOUND HEALING:
This ancient modality has been around since our very late ancestors. Creating steady beats to entrain our brainwaves is something that we are connected to through our blood lines, as well as creating all kinds of healing sounds through our voices and other instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, flutes, chimes, tuning forks and more depending on the area of origin. We all know too well how certain songs can create a shift in our mode and state of being, this is also true with sound healing where we use specific frequencies and pure vibrations that penetrate our bodies and massages our cells internally. Sound healing helps us to enter a deep relaxed state through entraining our brainwaves down to alpha-theta, and it’s in this state where we are connecting with our subconscious and can allow healing to occur on a cellular level.
