Our 10 Week Introduction to Yoga Course will be a transformational journey for participants and allow students new to yoga to get a feel for five of the types of yoga we hold at Prana House.
This includes:
Pranaa Yoga
Tridosha - Traditional Tantra Yoga
Hatha Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga
Yin Yoga
Students will gain an understanding of yoga philosophy, the specific types of yoga, practice of the basic poses and what to focus on when holding and transitioning, contraindications and precautions, adjustments and benefits.
This course will be a great foundational course allowing students to understand their practice, build strength and awareness of the styles so they can go on to attend classes in the specific styles they like.
