About Sarah

Sarah is a 33 year old skin and somatic therapist and trainer, whose passionate about the nervous system and mental health and wellbeing. She also sings! -Her partner and her enjoy playing soulful, acoustic music together.

Yoga Influences

Sarah is very much influenced by the foundations of Pranaa Yoga - Iyengar, Amrit (meditation in motion) and dance. She is also very inspired by slow-flow and yin.

Teaching Style

Sarah’s teaching style is very intuitive and often informed by the energy of her students and the day or evening. She loves incorporating chanting, as well as deep meditation and long held static poses. She also sometimes incorporates more dynamic, flowing movement guided by prana.

Why do you practice yoga?

“I practice yoga to help still the mind, experience the felt sense in my body, and spiritually to remember who and what I truly am - to return to the soul.”

Why do you teach?

“I teach because I love sharing my practice with others and help them come back to their bodies, find meditation (perhaps for the first time) and realise that all they ever need for healing is found within.”

Favourite Asana?

“Supta Baddha Konasana - Our very first warm up pose in Pranaa Yoga. It’s so heart-opening and expansive, and always lets me ‘drop-in’ to stillness as I enter my practice.“
