You know intimacy. When you first realise that something true, beautiful and special has somehow begun… and you surrendered to it.  Whether it’s birth, falling in love, family togetherness, or something else… you know intimacy.

Yoga is the same. Yoga is intimacy. It’s your intimacy with everything that is true in life…. all the forces and rhythms of life, flowing through you and all around you.
When you deeply realise that you do not create these forces, you surrender to them, you can then begin a personal yoga practice… as an embrace of something true, beautiful and special that is already happening.

This workshop series is for those wanting to learn the technology of modern yoga that was given by T. Krishnmacharya (now known as the father of modern yoga); and for those wanting to learn the ingredients and methods of composing and developing a personal practice.

Each workshop stands on it’s own as a full practice of BREATHING, MOVING, RELEASING and ALLOWING.
We will explore how a yoga session is a composition of elements that highlight existing internal sensation and experience. This approach is in accord with the practical aspects of the yoga sutras (asana, pranayama, meditation) and the psychological aspects (burning-off, self-reflection, letting-go).
Come and experience how these practical principles are woven together to surrender you into a more and more deeply-personal, intimate, and fulfilling expression of your life.

Peter Cohen is one of Australia’s most experienced yoga teacher trainers. His inspirational presentation of yoga is the intimate union of traditional Tibetan Yoga and the renowned yoga of T.Krishnamacharya. He is senior accredited in 3 yoga lineages and has been teaching for over 2 decades on trainings with prominent Australian spiritual teachers: Mark Whitwell, Nicky Knoff and Lama Urgyen Yeshe Ozer. Peter teaches principles of composing breath, movement and meditation that are the underlying heart of yoga.
