Anyone who suffers from anxiety and stress knows how debilitating it can be. Managing anxiety can be a constant silent challenger. It can create feelings of limited control, low self esteem, frustration, panic, fear and defeat. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or conflicted, this simple, easeful 2 hour workshop will take us on a journey to soften back into ourselves again.
This workshop will begin with science, psychology and yoga philosophy defining anxiety. We’ll then explore how anxiety presents in our lives and parts of the body where we tend to hold tension, fear and other negative emotion. After we’ll move into grounding yoga poses, practices and techniques to help alleviate anxiety, calm the nervous system and rewire our stress response. Expect asana, meditation, pranayama, mantra, meditation and aromatherapy.
You’ll also be gifted with the Yoga for Anxiety eBook featuring poses, tips and techniques to practice at home, work or university. Leave this workshop feeling balanced and grounded with the tools you need to give the very best version of yourself to the world.

This workshop is for everyone, of all backgrounds, experiences, size and age. All yoga postures will be practiced in a supportive, safe environment with variations offered to cater for absolute beginners to experienced yogis. Please keep in mind this class is not individually tailored for special needs, pregnancies, pre-existing physical injuries, pain or concerns, and if present you should consult with your physician before commencing.
