REST & REJUVENATE – Spring Yin Yoga Workshop
October 12 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
As we approach the final stretch of cooler weather and come fully out of hibernation mode (which has been great!), we’ll focus on deep rest and work with the meridians that move water through the body to stimulate the flow of Chi, and get us moving forward with a renewed sense of vibrancy and vitality ready for the warmer months ahead.
Join Haylee for an evening of Yin yoga, mantra and meditation and be guided through a series of postures and practices to reverse the effects of winter stagnation, and how you can incorporate this into your life.
Yin yoga uses restorative floor based poses with long holds to open up the fascia and connective tissues and to stimulate deep energetic channels, laying the perfect foundation to go deep within.
Be guided through a beautiful Yin practice focusing on stimulating the kidney and urinary bladder meridian pair, explore basic pranayama (breath work) and guided mantra & meditation techniques. Learn to quiet the mind, calm the nerves and find the inner peace and bliss that is available to us all. Expect to walk away feeling calm, relaxed and full of love. You will also receive some exercises to take with you and practise at home if you so desire.
